TIL in the Czech Republic, beer is cheaper than water in pubs, leading its health minister to call on restaurants and bars to offer at least one nonalcoholic drink at a price less than that of beer - but the Czech Hotel and Restaurant Association said that it is ready to fight "excessive regulation" My personal favorite bar is Boudoir, but it’s kind of a mixed crowd. Q Cafe is also a good bar. We don’t have the best gay scene here… But here is the full list Q Cafe - bar Friends bar and club Termix (better than Termax) - club Boudoir Bar Patra coffee shop and bar Piano Bar older crowd bar Saints local dive bar Tourists consider it the “typical Czech pub”, but it’s not exactly for that reason. If you wanna go to club, then Lucerna on Friday’s and Saturday’s plays some 80s-90s music and it’s packed with people. Another bet would be Futurum Music bar (both Lucerna and Futurum are very mainstream). Check out this website: Prague Beer Garden It's a great source for bars and beers in the city. Alternatively, though a bit outdated, this book "Prague: A Pisshead's Pub Guide" is highly recommended, especially if you want to venture outside the centre.
Lastly, if you like Prague, consider Budapest (if/when it's safe). I got a "Disney theme park" vibe from Prague, but Budapest felt lived in, more grounded. Have fun and be safe! P.s. don't be afraid to get outside of the tourist areas of Prague. East Prague is super industrial and working class. BAR FUD is a great backpacker bar in the area.

2. Coffee Break & Cake. The brand Break & Cake is no stranger at the studying/coffeeing scene. Not far from the University of Economics in Prague's Zizkov, you can have excellent coffee between classes every day for several years. Since last year’s autumn, the second café is to be found also at Albertov so it’s also students around this

Awesome. I will look at that bar too. I want to explore the catacombs and underground of Prague, is it hard to find and navigate around? I have Vysehrad on the list too! I have been to Prague before, but it was back in 2013 and I only saw all the touristy things so now I want to get a better sense of the actual culture and vibe.
Go up the stairs one floor • Boudoir Bar - gay/hipster bar w/ mixed crowd. • NoD • Groove Bar - trendy • Moon Club - trendy • Dva Kohouti - brewery • Valhalla Beer Club • Parlour - cocktails • Bar Pilotu - cocktails (best Bloody Mary in the city) • Monkey Bar - really cute bar with a fabulous little garden • Cross Club - DnB
My wife and I are visiting Prague. Tonight, we tried to go to the Anonymou$ Bar, but we didn’t quite realize we needed a reservation. So we went to the nearby Alchemist Bar. The menu was printed on pages of leather. I had a Woods of Suicide, made of rum, forest fruits and shiitake mushrooms, lemon juice and ginger beer.

Café Kolíbka (bit of a dive bar, but I loved it and you can get cheap whisky here) Srdcovka Spálená. T-Anker - rooftop bar with amazing views and a great selection of beer. Střecha Lucerny - rooftop bar on Wenceslas Square, but only open Sat-Mon 3-9pm.
maverick1905 • 5 yr. ago. Hospoda Brouk in Smíchov has like 3 real dart boards in its underground. They'll even lend you a decent steel darts set, a piece of paper and a pen if you tell them you want to play. It's all free. There are also tournaments once or twice a week in the evening. Veltlin is one of Prague’s most original wine bar s. Keen to do something a little different, owner Bogdan Trojak exclusively sources wine s from the former Austrian Empire. The classic décor of dark wood and chalkboards is balanced with playful illustrations that span the bar ’s walls. The selection of wine s is diverse and intriguing Thanks. Not right in the city center, but Becketts is a Liverpool supporters pub. There is a bar in Žižkov that regularly shows Everton games, and I know a cool place near Střížkov that has Tranmere jerseys on the wall. Unfortunately those are the only two teams from Liverpool I knew from my vacation there. Fraktal. By what sort of music you have stated you will like I would suggest - - Storm Club - Wildt - Cross Club - Fuchs2 - Bike Jesus Also the weekends there is usually something cool going on at Stalin (Which is in a park next to the Metronome), but you would have to check if anything is going on as it's outside normally and I don't know 100% if they have started back up with winter being around.

Locals know - pubs - Czech speciality (for Prague those are cafe-bars) International vibe - restaurants have usually national vibe (cuisine -> music), international vibe and music are in clubs and bars. Whats a "nice crowd"? :D still not sure about the type you like. From Groove bar to Zázemí/Stalin all is good and international Go up the stairs one floor • Boudoir Bar - gay bar but mixed crowd.
